We bring you this recipe made of our Indian Whole Black Eyed Peas that will break the stereotype of healthy being boring!
¼ tbsp Pride of India Organic Turmeric Ground, Organic Red Chili Ground, and Himalayan Pink Salt
¼ tbsp cornflower (optional)
1 inch grated ginger
4 cloves of garlic
Chopped coriander leaves
¼ cup chopped onions
Vegetable oil
Soak the black eyed peas for 4-6 hours and drain the excess water. Divide the material into two halves. Grind one to a smooth paste while making the other one coarse.
Mix both of the material together, and start adding onions, coriander, ginger, garlic, and the other spices to it.
Give them the shape of fritters and start frying them on medium flame while flipping them on each side to get the even texture.
The fritters can also be baked after preheating the oven to 220°C. Grease the baking tray and bake the fritters for 12-15 mins on one side and 4-6 mins on the other. Make sure they are cooked fully.
Your healthy crispy fritters are ready to be served hot! Garnish them with a sprinkle of coriander and get ready to taste something healthy and tasty!
